Hi! My name is Jan Lipensky. I am a self-taught glass artist and I live in Annville, PA, and Bishopville, Md. with my husband and chihuahua, Bebe. I began crafting beaded bracelets about a decade ago and would incorporate a small green crystal into each bracelet to signify that it was mine! Thus, the name, Green Bead Glass! I wanted to step up my design from just beads so I began researching fused glass on the internet. One thing led to another and now I create using three kilns in a large workshop.

I love the beauty and flow of the glass and the entire process of creating. Some of my art is structured and detailed, but most is an expression of my quirky, easy-going self. Boundaries are not limited by realism, only what could be, whether it’s beachy waves and bonefish to delicate flowers and trees. Each one is individually unique in its shape and beauty.

I always welcome consignment projects because I love to create what others see, with a little spin of my own incorporated!
